Getting used to the new normal

Getting used to the new normal

Well after three months of lockdown and staring through the workshop window at the wall the other side of our yard we have started to go out trading again. We’ve taken small, tentative, steps away from home to attend local craft markets. In particular we have started back trading at Tavistock Art Market. This lovely once-a-month market features local makers and producers selling their wares in Butchers hall which is situated within the central market area.

The busy town centre of Tavistock has long been associated with independent local traders. Shoppers benefit from a wide selection of unique items being offered for sale within the pannier market and the adjoining Butchers hall as well as the small independent shops in the high street. To help the Art market swing back into life there have been extra dates added for the remainder of 2020.

So if you happen to be in Tavistock on the first Saturday of the month do call in to Butchers hall, and the pannier market to see what’s on offer there.
